Job Description
Liberty Industrial is seeking a proactive and qualified Project Engineer to support the delivery of high-profile East Coast projects. This is a FIFO or DIDO on the East Coast, ideal for an experienced engineer looking to make an impact on complex, heavy industry works within a supportive and safety-driven team.
The Role:
Reporting to the Project Manager, you’ll play a key part in planning, mobilising, and executing engineering activities across remote and technically challenging sites. You will assist in delivering work packs, provide tender and document support, and engage closely with site teams to ensure seamless execution.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop and maintain executable work packs for project teams
Assist in tender documentation and site mobilisation planning
Support closure studies and project reporting requirements
Collaborate with internal stakeholders and site personnel
Uphold company HSEQ standards and procedures
Desired Skills and Experience
Essential Criteria:
Experience working on FIFO or remote location projects, including preparing execution-ready work packs
Strong verbal and written communication skills
Tertiary qualification in Civil or Structural Engineering
Engineering qualifications recognised in Australia (Engineers Australia or equivalent)
Desirable Attributes:
Experience in demolition projects or related heavy industry environments
Intermediate or higher proficiency in MS Project or Primavera P6
Prior work on heavy industry sites within Australia
Role Details:
Roster: 2 weeks on / 1 week off (Monday–Sunday, 10-hour days)
Travel: FIFO from East Coast
