Job Description

The Opportunity
We are seeking an experienced and motivated Project Engineer to join our Northern Territory operations on a FIFO 2/1 roster. This role offers the chance to work on high-profile projects, providing strong exposure to civil and environmental engineering in a dynamic and supportive team environment.

What you’ll be doing

  • Delivering civil and environmental projects from planning through to completion
  • Preparing and reviewing work packages, including methodology, risk assessments, and specifications
  • Coordinating daily activities with clients, subcontractors, and site teams to keep projects on track
  • Monitoring project progress, budgets, and schedules, and producing accurate reporting for stakeholders
  • Leading site inspections, audits, and toolbox talks to uphold safety and quality standards
  • Identifying risks early and implementing practical solutions to keep projects running smoothly
  • Managing procurement processes and coordinating materials, plant, and subcontractor resources
  • Ensuring all project documentation is accurate, complete, and compliant with regulatory requirements
  • Supporting tender submissions and assisting with project forecasting and cost control
  • Problem-solving on the ground, making decisions that prioritise safety, efficiency, and client outcomes
  • Providing technical support, mentoring, and guidance to project and site teams

Desired Skills and Experience

What we’re looking for

  • Civil Engineering degree (or related discipline)
  • Solid background in civil remediation, demolition, or environmental works
  • Strong project management and organisational skills
  • Exceptional communication skills – both written and verbal
  • A natural ability to build and maintain strong relationships with clients and stakeholders
  • Valid driver’s licence
  • FIFO Experience
