Job Description
We are seeking experienced Heavy Vehicle Operators to join our operations team in Altona, Victoria.
These are full-time, permanent roles offering stable employment, consistent 10-hour days (Monday to Saturday), and the chance to contribute to major industrial demolition and remediation projects.
You will operate modern, well-maintained plant across large-scale sites while working alongside a skilled and supportive operations team.
What You’ll Be Operating
Articulated dump trucks (Moxy)
Water carts
Service trucks
Front-end loaders and tip trucks (as required)
Key Responsibilities
Safely operate heavy vehicles to support daily site activities
Conduct daily pre-start checks and keep equipment clean and well-maintained
Transport materials efficiently in line with site requirements
Report equipment issues promptly to supervision
Follow Chain of Responsibility (CoR), NHVR requirements and site procedures
Assist with general site works, demolition support and remediation activities
Contribute positively to Liberty Industrial’s strong safety culture
Desired Skills and Experience
What You’ll Bring
Current HR licence (unrestricted) or higher
RII competencies in Water Cart, Service Truck and Articulated Haul Truck operations
Minimum 2 years’ experience operating heavy vehicles in construction, mining or industrial environments
White Card
Strong understanding of safety and compliance standards
Reliable, physically fit and committed to safe work
Desirable
HC or MC licence with tipper experience
Experience operating loaders or other mobile plant
Exposure to demolition, civil or remediation works
