Key Responsibilities

Reporting to the Corporate HSEQ Manager and working closely with the Project Manager, the HSEQ Advisor will:

  • Provide HSE advice, coaching and support to site teams
  • Conduct audits, inspections, behavioural observations and risk assessments
  • Lead incident reporting and ICAM investigations
  • Deliver toolbox talks, inductions and safety training
  • Review and improve JHAs, SWMS and Work Packs
  • Monitor subcontractor WHS compliance
  • Coordinate site emergency procedures
  • Liaise with clients, subcontractors and regulators
  • Prepare reports and documentation
  • Promote health, wellbeing and safety initiatives

Desired Skills and Experience

About You

  • Certificate IV in WHS (mandatory)
  • 3–5 years HSEQ experience in construction, demolition or heavy industry
  • Strong knowledge of Victorian WHS legislation
  • ICAM investigation experience
  • White Card
  • Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office
  • TAE or audit experience (desirable)
  • Experience in demolition/civil environments (highly regarded)
