We are seeking a professional and highly organised Receptionist / Office Administrator to be the first point of contact for our head office and to provide reliable and efficient administrative support across the business. This is an exciting opportunity for a recent graduate, or someone looking to gain exposure in a fast-paced business environment.

Job Description

About the Role

As the face of Liberty Industrial’s head office (Glebe), you will play a critical role in creating a welcoming, professional environment while ensuring the smooth day-to-day operation of the office. You will provide administrative support to the Senior Leadership Team, office-based staff and project teams, contributing to efficient business operations and a positive workplace culture.

Key Responsibilities

  • Be the first point of contact for visitors and incoming calls, delivering a professional and customer-focused experience.

  • Ensure the smooth day-to-day running of the office, including stationery, supplies and head office maintenance.

  • Support key business functions including HR, Finance, Operations and Executive Support.

  • Manage office purchases, credit card tracking and general administrative tasks.

  • Coordinate domestic travel bookings and accommodation for staff and provide other ad-hoc support to project teams.
  • Support employee onboarding and mobilisation, including new starters and internal transfers.

  • Maintain and improve administrative systems, including travel, procurement and office support processes.

  • Ensure systems are well documented, efficient and scalable to support ongoing business growth.

  • Act as a central support hub for the office, enabling effective communication and collaboration.

  • Contribute to a positive, welcoming office environment aligned with Liberty Industrial’s values.

About You

  • Strong administrative and organisational skills with the ability to manage competing priorities effectively.

  • Warm, approachable, and willing to take on a broad range of responsibilities.

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including professional phone etiquette and email correspondence.

  • Reliable, trustworthy, and able to work with confidential information.

  • A good problem-solver with high attention to detail.

  • Proficiency in the Microsoft Office Suite and general administrative practices.
