We are now seeking a Project Engineer to join our Melbourne operations on a local DIDO Roster 10 day fortnight, on site every other Saturday, working on major remediation and industrial project within Melbourne Victoria.

What You’ll Be Doing
Project Delivery & Coordination
Support end-to-end delivery of major projects
Develop project schedules, work packs and look-ahead plans
Coordinate subcontractors, suppliers, plant and labour resources
Work closely with Project Managers and site supervisors
Technical Engineering
Review drawings, specifications and technical documentation
Assist with methodology development and sequencing
Prepare ITPs, SWMS support documentation and engineering packs
Provide on-site technical solutions and problem-solving
Commercial & Cost Control
Assist with budgets, forecasting and cost reporting
Support procurement and subcontract administration
Assist with variations, claims and progress reporting
Quality, Safety & Compliance
Drive strong HSEQ standards on site
Participate in audits, inspections and incident investigations
Maintain as-built and project documentation
Ensure client and regulatory compliance
Stakeholder Management
Liaise with clients, consultants and site teams
Build strong working relationships across project stakeholders
Support and mentor junior engineering staff
Desired Skills and Experience
About You
We are looking for a motivated engineer who enjoys hands-on project delivery and thrives in fast-moving environments.
You will ideally bring:
Degree in Civil Engineering or similar
Experience in civil, remediation, demolition, heavy industry, shutdowns, or infrastructure
Strong project coordination capability
Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills
