This is a Perth-based role with strong site involvement, suited to an Engineer who enjoys being close to delivery, solving real-world challenges, and taking ownership of outcomes. You will play a key role in planning, coordination, sequencing, methodology development, and supporting safe project execution in live operational environments.
If you are looking for a role where planning meets execution, and where your contribution genuinely influences project outcomes, this is an opportunity to take the next step.
Job Description

Providing site-based engineering support to ensure work is executed safely and efficiently
Supporting planning, constructability reviews and identifying delivery risks early
Working closely with operational teams to improve productivity and execution outcomes
Monitoring project progress, cost and delivery performance
Contributing to safe work planning, risk assessments and work methodology development
Coordinating with subcontractors, Supervisors and stakeholders to ensure aligned delivery
Supporting continuous improvement initiatives across project execution
Desired Skills and Experience
You are a practical Project Engineer who understands site delivery and enjoys solving problems in fast-moving environments.
You will ideally bring:
Experience
Experience as a Project Engineer or Site Engineer within industrial, Oil & Gas, demolition, remediation, mining, civil or heavy construction environments
Strong site-based experience within live operational environments
Exposure to workfront coordination, constructability, sequencing and project delivery
Experience supporting multiple scopes or work fronts
Understanding of SWMS, work methodologies, risk management and practical site controls
Exposure to subcontractor coordination and project delivery support
Qualifications
Diploma, Advanced Diploma or Degree in Engineering (Mechanical preferred, Civil considered)
Practical, hands-on engineering background
Strong ability to apply engineering principles in live project environments
Technical Capability
Understanding of production logic, activity sequencing and delivery planning
Experience contributing to methodologies, work packs and short-term planning
Ability to identify constructability issues, planning gaps and delivery risks before work commences
Strong problem-solving ability with a practical and solutions-focused mindset
Personal Attributes
Self-driven with strong ownership and accountability
Practical, detail-focused and delivery-oriented
Able to manage competing priorities in dynamic environments
Team-focused and collaborative
Comfortable working under pressure while maintaining quality and consistency
Strong communicator who can engage effectively with crews, Supervisors, stakeholders and clients
