Job Description

Role Overview

As a Project Engineer, you will drive the success of projects within the Western Australia region, leading key engineering initiatives and delivering high-quality outcomes on diverse and challenging projects.

  • Project Management: Oversee the planning, execution, and delivery of engineering projects, ensuring compliance with project specifications, regulations, and quality standards.
  • Coordination and Communication: Act as a liaison between internal teams and external stakeholders to ensure smooth project execution within set timelines and budgets.
  • Site Work: Conduct site assessments, surveys, and inspections to support project planning, risk management, and execution.
  • Documentation: Prepare project proposals, technical reports, and other required documentation.
  • HSE Standards: Maintain robust health, safety, and environmental practices throughout the project lifecycle.

Qualifications

  • Degree: Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Civil, Structural, Mechanical, or a related field).
  • Experience: Demonstrated experience in a Project Engineer role within the construction or engineering sectors, preferably in remote or FIFO environments.
  • Technical Skills: Strong understanding of HSE standards, project management software, and engineering principles.
  • Communication: Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

  • Technical Competency: Solid understanding of engineering principles and the ability to read technical drawings.
  • Communication Skills: Effective communication with teams, subcontractors, and clients.
  • Problem-Solving Ability: Proactive issue resolution on-site.
