Liberty Industrial is currently seeking experienced, Multi Skilled Demolition-Civil Excavator Operators for FIFO (Fly In, Fly Out) to work at Gove, NT and other major projects throughout Australia. The roster is 60-70 hours per week, on a 3 and 1 swing.

Additional allowances:

• Penalty rates for overtime (average 65 hours per week);
• Flights, accommodation and meals are provided and organised;
• Travel hours to remote project and return paid;
• Daily $35 Remote Camp Allowance;
• Paid 30 minute Crib allowance;
• Income Protection Insurance;
• 1% Additional Superannuation; and
• $50 flight transfer allowance.

We are seeking Multi-Skilled Demolition-Civil Excavator Operators who can operate a range of attachments such as grabs, shears, pulverisers and hydraulic hammers.

We pride ourselves on our extensive fleet of low-hour and highly specialised plant and equipment, with excavators ranging from 25t to 230t, and High-Reach excavators ranging from 48t to 200t.

Skills that are essential for the role:

• High levels of safety commitment.
• Excavator operation – minimum 5 years’ experience required, operating excavators larger than 38t
• Demolition/Scrap processing background

To work at Liberty, employees with plant and machinery operation experience are required to hold a qualification with an RII.

Skills that are not essential but would be highly regarded for the role:

• Heavy Vehicle (HR) Licence or above.
• Notable experience in operating any of the following:
  • Articulated Dump Trucks
  • Water Trucks
  • Service Trucks
  • Dozer
  • Front end loader
  • Telehandler
  • Skid Steer Loader
• High Risk Work Licence with any of the following:
  • Rigging
  • Scaffolding
  • Forklift
  • EWP + Working at heights qualification
  • Dogging
  • Crane - either CN, C2 and/or C6
• Oxy cutting experience
• Asbestos removal experience
• Demolition/Scrap processing background

Liberty Industrial uses an Enterprise Agreement to classify an employee's skills and experience and therefore, their hourly rate. This can be discussed in more detail during the interview.
